BBC – Human Planet

“Planeta Humano” é uma série histórica que aborda a incrível relação da humanidade com a natureza no mundo atual. Diferente do reino animal, os seres humanos conseguiram adaptar-se e desenvolver-se em todos os ambientes da Terra. Cada episódio nos leva aos extremos do nosso planeta: ártico, montanhas, oceanos, selvas, pradarias, desertos, rios e até a selva urbana. Conheceremos gente que sobrevive estabelecendo relações complexas e, geralmente, de benefício mútuo com os animais e os elementos do mundo natural que a circundam. As equipes de “Planeta Humano” filmaram em cerca de 80 locações, trazendo-nos histórias que nunca foram contadas na televisão. Série de 8 episódios.

BBC – Human Planet /Planeta Humano

Human Planet é uma série de documentários em 8 partes  da televisão britânica. É produzido pela BBC com co-produção de descoberta e BBC Worldwide . Ele descreve a espécie humana e sua relação com o mundo natural, mostrando os caminhos notáveis ​​seres humanos se adaptaram à vida em todos os ambientes da Terra. 

Anunciado em 2007,  as equipes de produção com base na Unidade de História Natural da BBC , em Bristol e País de Gales BBC passou três anos filmando mais de 70 histórias em alguns dos locais mais remotos da Terra, abrangendo cerca de 40 países. Cada episódio da série se concentra em um ambiente humano habitado diferente, incluindo desertos, selvas, o Ártico , pradarias, rios, montanhas, oceanos e da paisagem urbana.

Pela primeira vez em uma série histórica BBC que a produção teve um fotógrafo fotos dedicado, Timothy Allen , que documentou fotograficamente o projeto para os livros e multimédia que acompanham a série. 

Human Planet foi originalmente exibido no Reino Unido no BBC One cada quinta-feira às 08:00 ao longo de oito semanas, a partir de 13 de janeiro de 2011. Repete domésticos têm sido visto em Eden , com todos os 8 episódios foram ao ar durante uma semana em abril de 2012.  BBC Worldwide, desde então, anunciaram que venderam os direitos de transmissão para 22 mercados internacionais. 

Human Planet foi nomeado para 7 BAFTA Television Awards Artesanato, o máximo para qualquer programa em 2011, e ganhou 2 deles, tanto para o episódio do Ártico, onde Jason Savage ganhou o prêmio de edição factual, e Will Edwards, Doug Allan e Matt Norman ganhou a fotografia (cinematografia) prêmio.
